Care, Collaboration and Collective Action at Studio 5
Day two at Studio 5 began by recognising something fundamental to the feminist movement: the importance of care, particularly in times of crisis.
The morning opened with a grounding sound bath meditation rooted in Indigenous wisdom, led by First Nations sound healer Nartarsha Bamblett and Yidaki/didgeridoo master Ganga Giri.

Fondation CHANEL then brought friends and partners together for a relaxed breakfast celebrating those on the front lines of gender equality, before the Gates Foundation convened a fireside conversation exploring how AI is transforming women’s health and the real-world solutions already helping to save lives.
Global 50/50 brought partners from across the movement together to consider what collaboration for gender justice needs to look like over the next 12 months and what tools, spaces and support are needed to make progress possible.

The conversation then turned to gendered misinformation and disinformation, online misogyny and their growing influence on public understanding of women’s rights. Hosted by Equality Now, the discussion explored how organisations across the movement can work together to respond more effectively.
Equality Now, Equimundo and Movember also hosted a roundtable focused on the importance of narrative change in driving sustained progress on policy, funding and legislation for gender equality, and why greater investment in this work is needed.

They were later joined by All In: Global Leaders for Ending Gender-Based Violence, supported by Minderoo Foundation, for a reception exploring the power of storytelling to shift hearts and minds.
The day closed with a dinner hosted by the Gates Foundation, bringing participants together for a candid conversation about how to build more coordinated action for women and girls and demonstrate that gender equality is both an urgent priority and an issue capable of bringing people together.
