The Brief
With over 700 events and more than 45,000 attendees, London Climate Action Week made 2025 its busiest year yet, highlighting its year-on-year rise in popularity.
This year, Project Everyone was commissioned by WWF to bring nature and biodiversity to the heart of LCAW, drawing on our recent work in this space, from the Global Biodiversity Framework branding to Nature House Cali in 2024.
The brief was clear: to create a dedicated space that would amplify often-underrepresented voices in climate discourse—particularly Indigenous leaders and frontline communities—while exploring critical intersections between nature, finance, technology, and social justice.
The desired outcome was to foster genuine connections and actionable solutions that would build momentum toward COP30 in Brazil, positioning nature as central to climate action and progress.
The Approach
INSPIRATION
We worked with a diverse ecosystem of partners including Synchronicity Earth, Aviva, WRI, Wellcome Trust, and many others to design, curate and deliver eleven events throughout a one-day activation: Nature Day.
As we built the programme, we deliberately crafted content that would span diverse themes while diving deep into the complexities of each issue.
We aimed to create conversations that would amplify underrepresented voices while also using Nature Day as a platform to explore critical intersections like AI and climate action, the role of the financial sector in detecting and addressing environmental crime, and intergenerational dialogue that deserved greater prominence in climate/nature nexus conversations.
Our overarching ambition was to foster an inclusive, thought-provoking and action-oriented environment where participants could learn, challenge existing paradigms, and forge collaborations toward nature-based solutions.
The choice of Kindred as our venue aligned with our values – founded as a member club turned community space that welcomes all and breaks down traditional barriers to meeting new people.
The venue’s commitment to locally sourced, seasonally curated food offerings reinforced our connection to nature and sustainable practices throughout the day.
Our programming spanned from systems thinking about food and metabolism to high-level policy discussions on green finance and climate justice.
Event formats were deliberately varied – from immersive nature walks and creative storytelling sessions to expert roundtables, film screenings, strategic dinners, and cultural performances – bringing together Indigenous leaders, former heads of state, financial executives, filmmakers, scientists, activists, and environmental champions from across the globe.
This diversity of voices and formats created genuine connections and meaningful dialogues that extended far beyond traditional conference settings, bringing nature to the very heart of LCAW.
