Ocean House

Bringing the ocean community together, by the ocean

Location:
Nice, France
Year:
2025

The challenge

The ocean needs more attention and more action

The ocean is essential to life on Earth, yet protecting it remains one of the most underfunded areas of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

When world leaders, scientists and campaigners gathered in Nice for the third UN Ocean Conference, we saw an opportunity to create something alongside the formal negotiations. A place where conversations could continue, new connections could form and ideas could turn into action.

That became Ocean House.

The idea

A different space for ocean action

Building on the success of Nature House, Project Everyone partnered with Project17 to create a space that brought together people working across ocean protection, policy, science, culture and activism.

Set beside the sea, Ocean House was designed as an inspiring alternative to the formal conference environment: a place to meet, challenge ideas, share knowledge and build new collaborations.

Ocean House

what happened

The ocean community
came together

Ocean House brought together policymakers, scientists, activists, artists and ocean advocates for three days of discussion, culture and connection.

Across panels, roundtables, screenings, dinners, receptions and immersive experiences, the programme explored some of the biggest issues facing our ocean, from finance and coral restoration to deep-sea mining, Antarctic protection and the High Seas Treaty.

Music, art and performance ran throughout, bringing creativity and energy to the conversation and making Ocean House feel like much more than a traditional conference.

Nature Day

Bringing Nature and Biodiversity to London Climate Action Week

Theme:
Climate & Nature
Type:
Convening / Events
Partner:
WWF
Location:
London
Year:
2025 / 2026

The challenge

Nature needed a bigger place in the climate conversation

London Climate Action Week had grown to more than 700 events and 45,000 attendees, but nature and biodiversity needed a stronger platform within the conversation.

Working with WWF, the challenge was to create a space that put nature at the heart of climate action, amplified underrepresented voices and explored how nature connects with finance, technology and social justice.

The idea

Bring different worlds together around nature

Project Everyone created Nature Day, a one-day programme designed to connect people, ideas and sectors that do not always share the same room.

Working with WWF and a diverse group of partners, the programme brought together Indigenous leaders, scientists, activists, financial leaders, policymakers, filmmakers and environmental champions to explore new approaches to protecting and restoring nature.

what happened

One day. Eleven events. A world of different perspectives.

Across three spaces at Kindred in London, Nature Day combined expert roundtables and policy discussions with nature walks, storytelling, film, dinners and live performance.

Conversations explored everything from green finance and climate justice to AI, environmental crime, food systems and intergenerational action. The varied programme created opportunities for genuine connection and collaboration while building momentum towards COP30 in Brazil.

Nature House

Fostering action on Biodiversity

Theme:
Climate & Nature
Type:
Convening / Events
Partner:
UN, CBD, Nature2 and Conservation International
Location:
Colombia
Year:
2024

The challenge

Turn a global agreement into something people can act on

COP16 was the first UN Biodiversity Conference since the adoption of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, a historic plan to halt and reverse biodiversity loss by 2030.

For Project Everyone, it also marked the culmination of 18 months of work developing the Framework’s new visual identity. The challenge was to bring that work to life and create a space where people could connect, collaborate and turn ambition for nature into action.

The idea

Create a home for nature, culture and collaboration

Project Everyone created Nature House, an inclusive convening space in Cali where delegates could step away from the formal negotiations to learn, challenge ideas and build new partnerships.

The programme was shaped around two ideas: inspiration, through conversations and collaboration around biodiversity, and celebration, bringing Colombian culture, food, music and art into the heart of the experience.

Nature House

what happened

Four days of ideas, connection and Colombian culture

Across four days, Nature House hosted 25 events exploring Arts & Culture, Finance and the Road to COP30.

Roundtables, workshops, dinners, performances and informal conversations brought together Indigenous leaders, businesses, civil society, government, the UN and the creative industries. Sessions were delivered across multiple languages, while Colombian artists, musicians and food producers helped create an experience rooted firmly in Cali and its culture.

Choose Life

Imagine the possible

Theme:

Type:
Campaign / Communication
Partner:
The Climate Coalition
Location:
UK
Year:
2020

The challenge

Recovery offered a choice about the future

In 2020, the pandemic exposed just how vulnerable our societies and systems could be to major global shocks.

As the UK looked towards recovery, the challenge was to build public support for ambitious climate action and put pressure on government to create a healthier, fairer and greener future, guided by the Global Goals.

The idea

Reimagine an iconic message for a new generation

Project Everyone partnered with The Climate Coalition to create Choose Life, a campaign inspired by the iconic opening monologue from Trainspotting.

Voiced by original cast member Kelly Macdonald and directed by Adam Smith, the campaign film transformed ‘Choose Life’ into a hopeful call for climate action, encouraging people to choose greener, cleaner and smarter ways forward.

Alongside the film, a dedicated digital platform connected audiences with campaigns, educational resources and a declaration calling on the UK Government to take meaningful action.

what happened

An iconic piece of culture became a call for climate action

Choose Life launched in October 2020, using film, digital content and the voices of influential supporters to take its message to audiences across the UK.

Organisations including Make My Money Matter, Extinction Rebellion, Global Citizen, Culture Declares Emergency and Nature Trust shared the campaign, while supporters including Lewis Hamilton, Coldplay, Cel Spellman, David Morrissey, Jaime Winstone and Kevin McKidd helped amplify it.

The campaign gave people a simple route from inspiration to action, directing them towards the declaration and practical ways they could support a fairer and greener recovery.
